What you are buying
A licence to run magframe, priced per booth device rather than per print. Every plan prints unlimited magnets across unlimited events — we do not meter output, and we never will, because a photographer counting magnets to save money is a photographer we have made worse at their job.
The plan covers 2 booth devices. A booth device is a machine you have signed magframe in on; releasing it from your profile frees the seat for another machine, and you can move a licence between machines whenever you like.
The free trial
15 days, no card, nothing to cancel. If you do nothing when it ends, it ends — we will not ask for a payment method and there is no subscription waiting to start.
Subscribing during the trial starts the plan and charges you straight away rather than at the end of the free days.
Payment
Paddleis the Merchant of Record. They are the seller on your invoice, the name on your card statement, and the party that collects and remits VAT or sales tax. Prices shown are in your own currency with your country’s tax included, so the figure on the pricing page is the figure the checkout takes.
Cards, billing addresses, plan changes, invoices and cancellation are all handled in Paddle’s portal, reachable from your account page. We never see a card number.
Cancelling, and what happens after
Cancel whenever you like. The subscription keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for — you paid for that time and it is yours — and there are no further charges.
When a subscription ends, magframe does not lock you out of your own work. It still opens your events and still exports what you have already made. What stops is importing, retouching and printing, and all three come back the moment you subscribe again. Nothing is deleted and nothing is held hostage.
Refunds
If magframe does not do what this site says it does, tell us and we will refund you. The 15-day trial exists so that you can find that out before paying, which is why it asks for no card — but a trial is not an excuse for us to be unreasonable afterwards.
Refunds are issued through Paddle, since they took the payment. Email support@magframe.app and we will arrange it.
Working offline
magframe is built for venues with bad Wi-Fi and keeps working without a connection for a period after its last successful check-in. That grace is deliberate and it is not a licence loophole: if the subscription has genuinely lapsed, the app returns to the read-only state described above once it can reach us again.
Releasing a device takes effect when that device’s current access token lapses rather than instantly, for the same reason — a booth mid-event cannot be told to stop until it next reaches the internet.
Test builds
Beta builds are offered to approved testers, carry known bugs, and stop taking new work after a fixed period. They install alongside your normal copy with their own library. They are not covered by any promise about fitness for a paying job, and taking one to a wedding is your risk.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself and the account to your studio. Sharing one login across studios to avoid buying seats is the one thing that will get an account closed — and if that happens, you keep your work, because it was never on our machines to begin with.
Changes to these terms
If we change anything that affects what you are paying for or what you are allowed to do, we will email the address on your account before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page is the last time it changed.
